April 11, 2017. Eureka Springs, AR. Here Am I, Send Me

Isaiah heard that there was a need. No one else seemed to be stepping forward to fill it; so he stepped forward; he volunteered. Karen and I are Isaiah-like, in that there are tasks here at TGPP which need to be done, there are not a whole lot of people to do them, since many of them are on long-term or technical projects and if we don't step forward, the tasks will not get done, or get done too late.
I don't mind raking leaves, painting places which need paint, picking up trash, filling toilet paper holders, running for supplies, getting called to unlock a door, get dirty or just do something mundane or menial. Karen also has the ability to "fill a gap" or be a willing listener or shoulder to lean on.
If it needs to be done, do it. If it will help the ministry run smoother or lighten someone's load, lend a hand. We do have a few more "hands" on board this year than the past two, so it looks like we're further ahead than we have been, but with quite a few new projects, we have a lot more things which, at this point, are still to be completed. Stay at it, whatever it may be, and know that there are no small tasks, all are important and each of us needs to cultivate that "send me" attitude. God will give us the time we need, the skills to do it and the result will glorify Him. Thanks for the opportunity to serve.
